Turtles’ bodies are made of black marble from the jungle area around Riobamba. The turtle shells are made from onyx from Cuenca. The fossiliferous marble shells on these serpentine turtles is ancient and varies widely in color and pattern.
This turtle measures 6.5 inches or 16-17cm from head to toe.
